The best plugins for WordPress Developers
This is not a comprehensive list of plugins by use case. These are plugins I regularly use when building websites
Equalize Digital Accessibility Checker – The internet is for everyone, so you should build websites that are as accessible as possible. There are plenty of legal and financial incentives for learning how to build accessible websites, but at the end of the day, you should do it for your website’s visitors. Unlike most a11y tools, Accessibility Checker gives real-time tips and suggestions for creating accessible text content, in addition to the more technical tips.
MemberPress –
Gravity Forms –
Elementor –
FacetWP – If a website needs filtering that’s even the tiniest bit complex, I reach for FacetWP. FacetWP allows you to do some pretty cool stuff with filtering and search for post types. It works great with ACF, and their support has always been extremely helpful when I’ve emailed them with questions.
Advanced Custom Fields – It’s pretty wild what you can accomplish with Advanced Custom Fields. Build custom blocks, build dashboard settings pages, or just add some fields to post types and query them from your theme or plugin.
